COMM AVE CANNA SUPPORTS THE BIG GIG: STANDING WITH BOSTON, OUR COMMUNITY & THE CULTURE
By Comm Ave Canna

There are some events you attend simply because they are happening. And then there are events that remind you why community matters in the first place.
For Comm Ave Canna, The Big Gig Indie Music Festival & Market was one of those events.
On Sunday, October 4th, Boston came together for a day filled with live music, local vendors, creativity, conversation, and people simply enjoying being around one another. Hosted at the Charles River Speedway in Brighton, The Big Gig created a space where different parts of the community could come together under one roof — and Comm Ave Canna was proud to be there.
We didn’t just show up.
We came to support.
COMMUNITY IS MORE THAN A WORD
At Comm Ave Canna, we talk about community often — but we believe community has to be something you actually participate in.
It’s showing up for local events.
It’s supporting artists.
It’s talking with your neighbors.
It’s discovering a small business you’ve never visited before.
It’s buying something from a local vendor because you believe in what they’re building.
It’s shaking somebody’s hand, having a conversation, laughing together and creating memories.
That’s what The Big Gig felt like.
There was something special about seeing so many people from different backgrounds and different creative worlds sharing the same space. Music was playing, vendors were connecting with customers, people were walking around discovering new things, and the entire environment had that unmistakable Boston community energy.
This is the kind of culture we believe in.
COMM AVE CANNA IS PROUD TO STAND WITH BOSTON
Comm Ave Canna isn’t just a cannabis business located in Boston.
We’re part of a city with an incredible history of artists, entrepreneurs, musicians, independent businesses, creators and people who continue to build something from the ground up.
Supporting events like The Big Gig is our way of saying:
We see you.
We appreciate you.
We believe in what you’re building.
And we’re here to support it.
The cannabis community doesn’t exist separately from the rest of Boston.
We’re parents, artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, creatives, small-business owners, customers, neighbors and friends.
We’re part of the same neighborhoods.
We’re part of the same culture.
We’re part of the same city.
And when Boston creates spaces for people to connect, we want to be there.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PULLED UP
One of the biggest highlights of the day for our team was seeing everyone who stopped by the Comm Ave Canna table.
To everyone who came over to say hello — thank you.
To everyone who introduced themselves — thank you.
To the people who came specifically to show Comm Ave some love — thank you.
To the familiar faces who we’ve seen before and the new faces we met for the first time — thank you.
Those interactions mean more than people realize.
A table at an event might look simple from the outside, but behind that table are real conversations, real relationships and real connections.
Every person who stopped by became part of the story.
And that’s something we don’t take for granted.
CAPTURING THE MOMENTS
The day was also an opportunity for Internet Traffic Agency and Stack Pack Media to document what was happening behind the scenes.
Because these moments deserve to be remembered.
The performances.
The vendors.
The conversations.
The laughs.
The people.
The energy.
The little moments that might seem ordinary while you’re living them but become special when you look back.
Our team was there capturing the atmosphere and documenting the experience because Boston has a story worth telling.
And we want to keep telling it.
BOSTON SHOWED OUT
The Big Gig wasn’t just about music.
It was about people.
It was about creating a space where independent creativity could breathe.
It was about giving vendors a place to introduce themselves.
It was about giving musicians an audience.
It was about bringing people together.
And it was about reminding everyone that some of the best experiences don’t require anything complicated.
Sometimes you just need good people, good music and a place to connect.
That’s Boston.
That’s community.
And that’s exactly the kind of environment Comm Ave Canna is proud to support.
WE STAND FOR COMMUNITY — AND WE STAND BY IT
Our commitment to community isn’t something we want to keep on a sign or a social media post.
We want to demonstrate it.
If our community wins, we win.
When local artists get heard, that’s a win.
When independent businesses get discovered, that’s a win.
When people create something that brings neighbors together, that’s a win.
When somebody walks away from an event having met a new friend, discovered a new artist, found a new business or simply had a great day — that’s a win.
Comm Ave Canna is proud to stand behind those wins.
Because we’re not interested in simply being somewhere.
We want to be part of something.
UNTIL NEXT TIME, BOSTON 💚
To the organizers, musicians, vendors, creatives, community members and everyone who helped make The Big Gig what it was — thank you for letting Comm Ave Canna be part of the day.
And to everyone who pulled up and showed us love at the table:
We felt it.
Boston, we appreciate you.
We appreciate the conversations.
We appreciate the support.
We appreciate the culture.
And most importantly, we appreciate the community.
This is bigger than cannabis.
This is bigger than one business.
This is about supporting the people who make Boston what it is.
Comm Ave Canna stands for community — and we’re proud to stand by it.
Good Flower. Better People.
For the Common Good. 💚
